The frame holds the lint filter in place so fluff is caught during the wash instead of ending up on your clothes. We don't have models on file, so compare it with the old frame or check the number on your parts list, and send your model number through the parts enquiry form if you're unsure.

Lint on clean clothes? Check the washer filter frame

Many washing machines catch lint and fluff in a filter so it doesn't settle back on the load or clog the pump. The frame is what holds that filter in position and keeps water flowing through it. Once the frame cracks, its clips break or the bag tears away from it, the filter stops working and lint ends up on dark clothes, in the bowl or in the drain. A frame that won't stay seated can also come loose during the wash. Rinsing the filter every few loads keeps it working well.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055730958

Filter frame assembly for the filter cup and bag

For Electrolux group washing machines

Check the shape and clips against your old frame

Fitting the filter frame

Unplug the washing machine first.
