Changing the door switch

Unplug the fridge or switch it off at the wall before touching the switch, as it carries mains power on most models. Gently prise the switch out of its housing and note which terminal each wire goes to. Move the wires across to the new switch one at a time, push it back in until it clicks, then check the light turns on and off with the door.
