It's also catalogued as 1457259. Full width bins hold milk, sauces and jars right across the door, so a cracked one is hard to work around. We hold no compatible model list, so match 4055724803 or 1457259 with your old bin before ordering.

When a fridge door bin cracks or breaks

Door bins carry a surprising load, and every time the door swings, bottles and jars shift against the front lip and sides. Cold plastic is more brittle, so a heavy bottle dropped in or a hard door slam can crack a bin or snap the hooks that hold it to the door liner. A broken bin can drop its contents when the door opens, sit crooked, or let spills run down the inside of the door. A replacement is quick to fit and keeps the door organised.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055724803

Also catalogued as 1457259

Full width door bin

Door bin from the Electrolux group fridge range

No model list on file, compare with your old bin

Fitting the door bin

Empty the bin, then lift it straight up to unhook it from the moulded ribs on the door liner.
