This hose runs from the water tap to the dishwasher's inlet and is under constant pressure whenever the tap is on. Safety hoses are made to reduce the risk of a supply leak causing water damage, but once they're damaged they can't do that job. Fitting a new supply hose
Isolate the water at the tap and the power at the wall before you start. Slide the dishwasher forward to get at the rear connection, catching the water left in the old hose with a tray. Lay the new hose along the same path without kinks or tight bends, connect the dishwasher end first, then the tap, and check both ends for leaks with the water back on.
