Gas oven clicking but not lighting? Check the igniter lead

When the ignition is activated, the spark module sends a high voltage pulse along this lead to the spark plug or electrode at the oven burner. If the lead's insulation cracks, chafes against the cabinet or its connector loosens, the spark leaks away before it reaches the burner. You may hear clicking without seeing a spark at the oven, see a spark jumping from the wrong spot, or need several attempts to light the oven. Changing the igniter lead
