Top loader leaking underneath or not draining

All the water in the tub drains through this hose on its way to the pump. Because it sits at the lowest point of the machine, it collects lint, coins, hair clips and other small items that escape the drum. A blocked hose leaves water in the tub at the end of the cycle, causes slow draining or stops the spin. A split or perished hose, or one that has slipped off its clamp, leaks onto the floor, often only while the machine is draining. Swapping the tub to pump hose

Switch off at the wall, turn off the taps and bail or drain out any water left in the tub. Lay towels down, as the hose will hold some water. Note the hose orientation and clamp positions, then release the clamps and work the old hose off. Clean the spigots, fit the new hose with its clamps in the same spots and run a short cycle while watching for leaks.
