Replacing the switch safely

Switch the oven off at the circuit breaker, because most wall ovens are hard-wired and the work should be done by a licensed electrician. Remove the control panel to reach the switch. Before disconnecting, number each wire against its terminal and take a photo. Fit the new switch, transfer the wires exactly, refit the panel and knob, then check every function heats as it should.
