It's the one to reach for when the light inside your oven has gone dark and the old globe has the same screw-in base. A standard household globe isn't made for that kind of heat, so stick with a 300C rated lamp like 4055564647.
Oven light not working? Check the globe first
The oven lamp lets you keep an eye on food without opening the door and letting heat escape. Because it lives inside the cavity and goes through a heat-up and cool-down every time you bake, the filament eventually gives out. A dark oven when you switch the light on is the obvious sign. Before blaming the switch or wiring, unscrew the globe and look at the filament, or test it for continuity with a multimeter. If it's broken, a new 25W E14 lamp is normally all you need. If a fresh globe still won't light, the lamp holder, switch or wiring is the next thing to check.

Replacing the oven globe
Turn the oven off at the wall, or isolate it at the switchboard if it's hard-wired, and let it cool completely. The glass cover over the lamp can be tight, so a rubber glove helps with grip when you unscrew it. Swap the globe, wipe the cover clean, refit it and test the light.
Questions about this part
Can I use a normal household E14 globe instead?
It isn't recommended. Ordinary household globes aren't built for oven heat, while this lamp is rated to 300C. Match the wattage and the E14 screw base of your old globe as well.
My old globe says 15W, is this the right one?
This lamp is 25W. If your oven originally took a 15W E14 globe, the 15W version is part 4055724688. Check the marking on the old globe or in your user manual first.
