Placing the new shelf
Remove all food from the shelf area first. If the old glass is cracked, lift it out slowly with gloves on and check for small fragments on the shelves below. Line the new shelf up with its supports, lower it level and press gently at each corner to make sure it's seated. Wash it with mild soapy water before loading it up.
