4055561544-genuine-electrolux-grill-dish-grid-rack-insert
4055561544 Genuine Grid Rack Insert for Electrolux Group Oven Grill Dishes, Wire Grill Rack

Genuine Electrolux part 4055561544 is a grid rack insert, the wire grid that sits inside the grill dish on Electrolux group ovens. Food rests on the grid while it grills, so fat drains through into the dish below instead of the meat sitting in it. Grill dishes come in several sizes, and this insert has no model list attached, so measure your dish or check your model's parts list before ordering 4055561544.

Why the grill rack insert matters

Grilling works best when hot air and radiant heat can reach the food from above while the drips fall away underneath. The grid insert holds food up off the base of the dish so it browns rather than stews in its own fat, and it makes turning sausages and chops easier. Inserts get bent from being forced into the sink, lose their coating, rust at the welds or simply go missing. A loose, warped grid tips food over and can block the dish from sliding fully onto its runners.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055561544

Grid rack insert for the grill dish

Holds food above the drip area

For Electrolux group ovens

Getting the right fit

Before ordering, measure the inside of your grill dish and compare it with the old insert if you still have it. With the oven off and cool, sit the new grid in the dish and check it lies flat and doesn't overhang the edges. Wash it before first use, and soak it in warm soapy water rather than scraping hard with metal tools.

Questions about this part

Is the grill dish included?

No dish is mentioned in the stock description, so this listing is for the grid insert. If you need the dish as well, send us your oven's model number and we'll find the matching part number.
