Oven not heating from the bottom?

Fitting the base element
Isolate the oven at the switchboard and let it cool completely. A hard-wired oven should be worked on by a licensed electrician. Depending on the model, base elements are reached from behind the oven or by lifting the cavity floor. Photograph the terminals before disconnecting them, reconnect the new element the same way, then run the oven on bottom heat to check it warms up.
