Part 4055548723 is a genuine Electrolux group spare, also listed as 0125008345, and it suits a long list of Chef cookers and ovens. Models on file include the CFE532WB, CFE536WB and CFE547WB, CFG models such as the CFG503WBNG and CFG517WBLP, and CVE ovens like the CVE612SA and CVEP614SA.

When a Chef oven element starts to sag or rattle

Element clips anchor the element to its mounting points so it keeps its shape and stays clear of the oven walls, the racks and your food. They live in one of the hottest spots in the oven and can go brittle, snap or get lost when an element is changed. A missing or broken clip usually shows up as an element that droops, sits crooked or rattles when you slide a rack in. Left alone, a sagging element can rest against metal panels or trays and wear out sooner, so it pays to refit a proper clip.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux group part 4055548723

Also listed as 0125008345

Mounting clip for the oven split element

Suits Chef CFE, CFG, CLE and CVE models

Fitting the element clip

Switch the oven off at the wall or isolator and let it cool fully. Take a photo of the old clip in place so the new one goes back the same way. Support the element while you swap the clip so it doesn't bend, and check the element sits level and clear of the oven walls afterwards. If the element itself is damaged, replace it at the same time.

Questions about this part

Does 4055548723 fit Electrolux ovens or only Chef?

This clip is listed for both Chef and Electrolux, and the models on file are mostly Chef CFE, CFG, CLE and CVE ovens and cookers.
