Kelvinator KWH series air conditioners use this genuine display board, part number 4055545745, in the indoor unit. It is listed across the KWH20, KWH26, KWH39, KWH53 and KWH62 sizes in both the CRE and HRE versions, so ten models in all. Kelvinator air conditioner display blank or not responding
The display board sits behind the front of the indoor unit and shows the set temperature, mode and status lights. On many split systems it also houses the receiver that picks up the remote control. When it fails, the display can go blank or show missing segments, the status lights may stay off, or the unit may ignore the remote even with fresh batteries while still running on its last setting. The display relies on the main board for power, so check the main board and the cable between them before replacing it.

Fitting the display board
Turn the air conditioner off and isolate it at the isolating switch or circuit breaker before removing the front cover. Fixed wiring work on air conditioners should be done by a licensed electrician or a qualified air conditioning technician.
