Changing the knob
Turn the appliance off and, on a cooker, make sure every burner and element is off and cool. Pull the old knob straight off the shaft without twisting or levering against the panel. Line the new knob up with the shape of the shaft and push it on firmly. Check that it points to off when the control is in the off position.
