Models on file are the Chef CRF610SB and CRF610WB, plus the CRR612DB, CRR612SB and CRR612WB. It takes a small Edison screw globe and is also linked to number E610006.
Rangehood light flickering or not working with a new globe?
The lamp holder is the socket the globe screws into, carrying power from the rangehood wiring to the globe contacts. Grease, steam and heat wear it down over the years. The plastic body can go brittle and crack, while the spring contact inside loses tension or corrodes. Typical signs are a light that flickers when the fan runs, a globe that only works when you wiggle it, scorch marks around the socket, or no light at all even with a fresh globe. A globe that snapped off at the base can also leave the holder damaged beyond saving.

Replacing the lamp holder
Switch the rangehood off at the wall, or isolate the circuit if it is hard-wired, and let the globe cool before removing it. Hard-wired rangehoods should be worked on by a licensed electrician. Take a photo of the two wires on the old holder, release it from its mount and move the wires to the matching terminals on the new one. Refit the globe and test the light.
