Fixing hooks hold one component to another, or locate a panel or bracket in place. The description on file doesn't say which appliance it is used in, so please confirm the number on your parts list before ordering. Look up your appliance's model and product number, then find the hook in its parts breakdown.

Why a small fixing hook matters

It is easy to overlook a hook like this until it breaks. When a fixing hook snaps or goes missing, the part it held can sag, rattle, sit out of line or fall away altogether. That might show up as a panel that won't sit flush, a component that vibrates while the appliance runs, or a part that keeps dropping out of place. Small plastic and metal fixings become brittle with heat and age, so they often break when an appliance is opened up for some other repair.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux group part 4055529244

Fixing hook

Appliance not specified, confirm by part number

Fitting the fixing hook

Switch the appliance off at the wall before removing any panels.
