Fridge door sagging or not sealing? The hinge may be worn
A fridge door is heavy once the shelves are loaded, and the hinge carries all of that weight every time it swings. When a hinge wears, bends or cracks, the door drops at the handle side, rubs on the cabinet or the other door, and stops sealing properly. You may notice the door no longer closes on its own, frost building in the freezer, condensation around the seal or the compressor running longer than usual. Tips for fitting the hinge kit
Unplug the fridge and empty the door shelves so the door is light. Have a helper hold the door while you undo the old hinge. Some models need a spacer fitted with the new hinge, and on certain doors the hinge hole has to be drilled out with an 11mm bit to suit the current part, so check before you start. Adjust the door so it sits level and seals evenly all round.
