Part 4055484465 is the genuine solid centre hinge kit for the right hand side, fitted between the doors on a wide range of Westinghouse, Simpson, Kelvinator and Electrolux two door fridges. The current number for the right hand kit is 1461502, and it's also linked to 1449843. Listed models include Westinghouse BJ383V to BJ515V, WTM and WBM fridges, Simpson SBM and STM, Electrolux ETM and EBM, plus SR and NB series models.
Fridge doors dropping or not sealing
On a two door fridge the centre hinge carries the bottom of the upper door and the top of the lower door at the same time. Constant opening, heavy door shelves and the odd child hanging off a door slowly wear the pin and bend the bracket. The doors then drop out of line, rub against each other, or leave a gap at the seal that lets warm air in. Frost build-up in the freezer, condensation around the door edges and a fridge that runs constantly can all start from a tired centre hinge.

Fitting notes for the centre hinge
Unplug the fridge and empty the door shelves to take weight off the hinge. Support both doors while the old hinge is removed. Some models need a spacer with this kit, and in some cases the door must be drilled out with an 11mm drill bit to suit the new hinge. Check the door alignment and seals once everything is tightened.
