Our records give the description only, with no appliance type or model list, so this listing suits buyers who already have the number from a parts list or the old part. If you're unsure, send your appliance's model and serial number or PNC through the parts enquiry form.

Why a missing drain cap matters

Drain caps close off a water outlet that is only opened to empty the appliance, such as the condensate drain on a portable air conditioner or dehumidifier, or an emergency drain on a washing appliance. They're small, they get dropped or perished, and without one water dribbles out whenever the appliance runs or tips. A cracked or loose cap shows up as drips or a damp patch under the drain point. A properly fitting cap seals far better than tape or a bung pushed into the outlet.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux group part 4055439881

Drain cap for an appliance water outlet

Appliance type and models not on file

Fitting the cap

Switch the appliance off and unplug it before working near the drain.
