4055081592-genuine-electrolux-door-support
4055081592 Genuine Door Support for Electrolux Group Appliances, Electrolux Door Bracket Support

4055081592 is a genuine Electrolux door support. Electrolux lists two door supports with identical descriptions, this one and 4055081618, and the separate numbers mean they aren't the same part, perhaps differing in side, size or the appliance range they suit. We don't have model information for either, so the only safe way to order is to match the number on your old support or on the parts list for your appliance.

What a door support does

A door support carries or steadies a door as it opens and closes. Depending on the appliance, it may take some of the door's weight, set how far it opens, or hold it in line with the cabinet so the seal closes evenly. When a support breaks or wears, the door may sag, drop open too far, rub on the frame, fail to close squarely or leave a gap at the seal. Those faults usually get worse with use, so it pays to replace the support before hinges and other parts start to wear.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055081592

Door support for Electrolux group appliances

Similar part 4055081618 has the same description but a different number

Appliance and model fit not on file, match your old part

Checking and fitting

Switch the appliance off at the wall, and turn off water or gas if it uses them. Support the door so it can't drop while the old part is out. Compare the old support with the new one side by side for shape, holes and mounting points before you fit it. Tighten fixings firmly but not so hard that plastic cracks, then open and close the door a few times to check it runs true.

Questions about this part

Which appliance is this door support for?

Our records don't name the appliance or models for 4055081592.
