3872957018 Genuine Front Frame Bush for Electrolux Group Ovens, Electrolux Oven Frame Bushing

3872957018 is a genuine Electrolux bush that fits the front frame of Electrolux group ovens. Bushes are small sleeves or inserts that guide a moving part or give a screw or pin a firm, hard wearing seat. This one is listed for the front frame, the section that surrounds the oven opening. It's an easy part to lose during a repair, and matching the number on your parts list is the best way to confirm it's the one you need.

What a worn front frame bush causes

Small bushes take a lot of wear for their size. In an oven's front frame they can locate hinges, rods or fixings, and keep metal parts from rubbing against each other. When a bush cracks or goes missing, the part it supports can work loose. Depending on its position, you may notice a door that sits out of line, a rattle, a part that binds or squeaks, or extra wear on the frame. Check the parts diagram for your model to see exactly where 3872957018 sits.

Fitting tips

Turn the oven off at the switchboard and let it cool before you remove any trim. Take the door off if the bush sits near the hinges, as it makes access easier and safer. Note how the old bush sits, then press or clip the new one into the same position. Refit the trim and check any moving parts now run smoothly without play.
