Fan forced oven not heating?
In fan forced mode the fan draws air from the oven and pushes it past the round element, spreading heat evenly across every shelf. When the element fails, the fan still runs and the light comes on, but the oven barely warms or takes far too long to reach temperature. Other modes that use the top or bottom elements may still work. Some elements fail with a visible blister or split in the sheath, and some trip the safety switch when the oven is turned on. A multimeter test will confirm an open circuit.

Changing the fan element
Turn the oven off at the switchboard. Element replacement involves live terminals, so use a licensed electrician or qualified appliance technician. Remove the fan cover inside the oven, then unscrew the element and draw its terminals through. Photograph the wiring at the back first. Refit the new element with its terminals tight, replace the fan cover, and run the oven on fan forced for 20 minutes to burn off any coating smell.
