Using the spring expansion tool
Switch the washer off at the wall and turn off the taps before any door boot work. Seat the lip of the boot fully in the front panel groove first. Hook the spring onto the tool, then work it around from the bottom up, checking it sits in the groove all the way round. Run a short rinse and watch the bottom of the door for drips.
