When an LG washing machine door needs replacing
The door does more than cover the opening. It presses against the rubber boot to seal the drum, and its hook engages the door lock so the machine knows it is safe to fill and spin. A damaged door can cause leaks at the front, a lock that won't engage, or an error telling you the door isn't closed, and then the wash simply won't start.
