The genuine 3581980970 cap kit replaces both the inner and outer caps on the wok burner of a range of Westinghouse and Electrolux gas cooking appliances. Models on file include the WFE517SA, the WFE616SA, WFE619SA and WFE619WA, the WFE912SA, WFE914SA and WFE916SA, the WFG617 series in natural gas and LPG versions, and the GSN625 and GSN627 models.
Uneven or yellow flame on the wok burner?
A wok burner has two rings of flame, and each ring has its own cap sitting on the burner head. The caps spread the gas evenly so it burns in a neat ring of blue flame around the edge. Caps that are cracked, warped, badly corroded or not seated properly cause uneven, lifting or yellow flames, slow ignition and soot on the bottom of pans. Boil-overs that bake onto the caps can block the flame ports too. If cleaning doesn't bring back a clean, even flame, it's time for new caps.

Fitting the burner caps
Make sure all burners are off and cold. Lift off the trivet and the old caps, then clean the burner head and check the flame ports and ignition electrode are clear. Set the inner and outer caps in place, making sure each one sits flat and is located properly. Light the burner and check for an even blue flame all the way round. If the flame is still poor, have a licensed gas fitter check the burner.
