Gas burner clicking but not lighting?

When you push and turn a knob, the ignition module sends high voltage down the lead to the spark plug, which sparks across to the burner and lights the gas. Over the years the ceramic body can crack, the tip burns away or gets coated in spilt food, and the lead can break down and spark to the frame instead. Signs include a weak or missing spark at one burner, clicking with no flame, sparks visible somewhere other than the tip, or ignition that only works some of the time. Replacing the spark plug
