Technika ovens with a cold fan forced function often need a new ring element, and this generic 1950W element replaces part 33303032, also known by the number 30101200017. It is an aftermarket element, not made by Technika. Twelve models are on file, among them the TB90FSS-5, the T948SS-3 and T948SS-5, the B9GEF and B9GEFTSS-3, the TU950TLE8GL and TU950ME3SFRL, plus the VGGU90SS, RV94881, RV59MEC and AR90S.
Fan forced oven not heating? Signs of a burnt out element
The fan forced element is the round heating coil fitted around the fan at the back of the oven. With the fan running, air passes over the hot coil and circulates through the cavity, giving the even heat that fan functions rely on. Elements fail when the internal wire breaks, often after years of heating cycles or a spill that has attacked the sheath. You'll notice the fan turning but the oven staying cool, very long preheating, food raw in the middle, or the safety switch tripping. A visible split, bulge or blister on the coil is a giveaway.

Fitting the fan forced element
This job should be done by a licensed electrician, as these ovens are usually hard-wired. Switch off at the isolator or switchboard first. Take out the oven racks and unscrew the fan cover at the back of the cavity, then undo the element fixing screws. The terminals are on the back of the oven, so the unit may need to come out of its cavity. Note the wiring, connect the new element, then check it heats on fan forced.
