Fisher & Paykel part 315017 is a genuine door shelf cover kit, made up of a left and right pair of dairy compartment lids for the fridge door. It is on file for close to 150 Fisher & Paykel models, including the E372B and E402B, the E331T and E381T, the E450 series, and the C450 and C370 models. Swap out lids that are cracked, yellowed or no longer stay shut.
Cracked or missing Fisher & Paykel dairy lids
The dairy compartment sits high on the fridge door and keeps butter and cheese covered and a little apart from the rest of the cabinet. Its lids get handled every day, so hinge pins snap, corners crack and the plastic can go cloudy or yellow with age. Once a lid breaks it either hangs open or falls off, leaving food exposed to drying air and other odours. A fresh matching pair also tidies up the look of an older fridge.

Fitting the dairy lids
No tools are normally needed. Open the fridge door, flex the old lid gently to release its hinge pins from the shelf, and clip the new lids into the same pivot points. Make sure each lid swings freely and closes flat. If the shelf itself is cracked around the pivot holes, the new lids may not stay put, so check it while you are there.
