It suits a wide range of Technika rangehoods on file, such as the CHEM52A6S and CHEM52A9S-2, the D6900SS-2, the FHEE26A9S-2 and BG96A6-2, and the TB10900SS-2, VCR90CL and CP750SS.
Technika rangehood light not working?
The down lights in a rangehood shine onto the cooktop so you can see what is in the pan, and they sit right in the path of steam and grease. Over time an LED can flicker, dim, change colour or fail outright, and heat can make the lens brittle. If one light works and the other does not, the faulty light is usually the culprit. If both go out together, check the switch, any LED driver and the power to the rangehood before replacing lights.

Swapping the down light
Isolate power to the rangehood before starting. Remove the grease filters, then ease the old light out of its cut-out, usually by pressing in the retaining clips. Disconnect its lead, connect the new light the same way and push it home. A rangehood that is hard-wired to the house wiring should be worked on by a licensed electrician.
