Fitting the knob
Turn the cooker off at the wall and let the controls cool. Pull the old knob straight off its shaft without levering against the panel. Line the flat on the shaft up with the flat inside the new knob and press it on firmly. Turn it through its full range to check it moves freely and points to off correctly.
