Product details

Part 30101700001 is a genuine micro switch from the daisy chain ignition set used on Technika and Venoto gas cookers, and it matches Blanco part 760140900. There are 41 models on file, including the TU950TME8, TU950TLE8 and TU950ME3SF, the TEG95UA and TEG95DUA, the B9GEFTSS-3 and B9GEFTSS-5, the GHE09TDSS-4, and the VU90EG and VUC90SS.

Gas burner not sparking, or the igniter clicking nonstop?

On many gas cookers each control knob has a small micro switch behind it. The switches are wired together in a daisy chain, and when you push in and turn any knob, its switch closes and the spark generator fires the igniters. A switch that has failed open means no spark when you turn that knob, though the other burners may still light. A switch that sticks closed, often after a boil-over or cleaning water gets into the panel, makes the igniters click continuously even with every knob off. Moisture can be the cause, so let the cooktop dry out completely before replacing parts.

Fitting the micro switch

Turn the cooker off at the wall or switchboard and shut off the gas supply before removing the knobs and control panel. The switches clip onto the gas valve spindles, so photograph the wiring and how the old switch sits first. Because the work is done around gas valves, a licensed gas fitter is the right person for the job. Test the spark on every burner afterwards.

Questions about this part

Can I replace just one switch on the daisy chain?

That depends on your cooker. Some daisy chains let you swap a single switch, while on others the switches are joined into one loom. Compare this part with your old switch, including the wire connections, before ordering.
