Product details

Ovens from Baumatic, Euromaid and Technika use this genuine 250°C thermostat, part number 30100900013. You may also find it listed as 33311001 or 30100900001. The models we have on file are the EG90S, EGE9TBK, EGE9TS and FC9PS. It is the control behind the temperature knob that sets how hot the oven runs.

Oven running too hot, too cool or not heating?

Most mechanical oven thermostats use a sensing bulb inside the cavity, linked by a thin capillary tube to a switch behind the knob. As the oven heats, the bulb senses the rise and the switch cuts power to the elements at the set temperature, then brings them back on as it cools. When a thermostat fails the oven may not heat at all, may overheat and burn food, or may cook well below the setting. A damaged capillary or a bulb knocked out of its clips causes similar faults, so check those while you're in there.

Replacing the oven thermostat

An oven thermostat is part of a hard-wired appliance, so have a licensed electrician fit it with the power off at the switchboard. Pull off the knob and remove the control panel to reach it. Photograph the terminals, then feed the capillary and bulb through carefully without kinking the tube. Clip the bulb back in its original spot and check the temperature with an oven thermometer once fitted.

Questions about this part

My old thermostat says 33311001. Will this one fit?

33311001 is listed as a cross reference for 30100900013, so it should be the same thermostat. Compare the shaft, the capillary length and the terminal layout with your old part, and send us your model number if you'd like it checked.
