It's the switch behind the knob you turn to choose how the oven cooks, for example bake, grill or fan. There are 45 models on file. Among them are the TU950TME8 and TU950TLE8, the TB86MSS and TO86MSS, and the BG8SS and GE9SS.
Oven function knob not working or element not coming on
The selector switch connects power to the right combination of elements, fan and light for each oven function. Contacts inside wear and burn over time, especially on the most used settings, and a failing switch can be the reason one function works while another doesn't. Look for a grill that won't heat, a fan that never starts, an oven light that stays off, a knob that turns loosely without clicking into position, or burnt or melted terminals behind the knob. Test the elements before blaming the switch, as a dead element can look like a switch fault.

Fitting the selector switch
This is an electrical repair. Isolate the oven at the circuit breaker, and if it's hard-wired have a licensed electrician do the work. Pull the knob off, remove the control panel and photograph every wire on the old switch before touching it. Move the wires across one at a time to the matching terminals, check none are loose or burnt, then reassemble and test each function.
