The door seal, sometimes called the boot or bellows, joins the front of the cabinet to the tub and seals against the door glass. Fitting a washer door seal

Unplug the machine and turn off the taps. The seal is held by an outer clamp ring at the front and an inner clamp around the tub, and on many machines the front panel or door lock has to come off to reach them. Line up any alignment marks on the new seal with the tub before fitting the inner clamp. Run a short rinse afterwards and check for drips.
