Snapped door handle on your Beko washer? 2821580200 is a generic grey door handle made to suit Beko washing machines, a compatible aftermarket part rather than a Beko branded one. It's listed for 29 Beko models. The WMB range makes up most of them, for example the WMB81241LS and WMB91442LW, and the list also covers the WM7043CW, the WME8227S and the WMXD847S.

Signs your Beko door handle needs replacing

The handle is the lever you pull to release the door catch. It links to the latch mechanism inside the door, so every time you open the machine it takes the strain. Typical failures are a handle that snaps off, cracks at the pivot, feels loose or swings without releasing the door. Sometimes the handle is fine and the door lock is still holding the door shut after a cycle, so wait a minute or two before forcing anything. Pulling hard against a locked door is a common way handles break.

Fitting the door handle

Turn the washer off at the wall. The handle sits inside the door, so the door usually needs to come off the machine and be split apart by removing the screws around the inner ring. Note how the handle and any spring or catch fit together before removing the old one. Fit the new handle, reassemble the door and check it opens and latches smoothly.

Questions about this part

Will this handle fit a Beko WMB91442LR?

Yes, the WMB91442LR and WMB91442LR-1 are both on the list for this handle. Keep in mind that this handle is grey, so it may not match a door with a different coloured trim.
