Fitting a rangehood runner

Switch the rangehood off at the wall or isolator and let it cool. Take out the grease filters, then support the sliding front while you undo the runner screws, as it can drop once released. Note any stops or spacers fitted to the old runner. Fit the new one, clean the opposite track while you're there, and slide the front in and out to check it runs straight.
