It's listed for many production versions of both, from /01 through to /74. BSH supplies this basket for its Siemens and Bosch dishwashers. If rust spots, broken tines or a cracked frame have made the old basket hard to load, a new one fixes it.

When a dishwasher lower basket needs replacing

The lower basket holds plates, pots and larger items in the path of the lower spray arm. Once the coating on the wires cracks, rust spreads and leaves orange marks on dishes and inside the tub. Broken or bent tines let plates fall against the spray arm and stop it turning, which leads to poor wash results. Worn wheels make the basket drag and jump off its rails, and a basket that won't slide out easily soon gets loaded badly.

Part details

Genuine BSH part 20003111

Lower crockery basket

On file for Siemens SN457S01MA and SN257I01MA

Covers versions /01 to /74

Fitting the new basket

Pull the old basket out and lift it clear of the door rails.
