Swapping the lower basket
No tools are normally needed. Pull the old basket fully out and lift it clear of its rails, then roll the new one in and check it travels smoothly to the back. Move across any clip-in accessories, such as a cutlery basket, if they came with the old rack. Before the first wash, turn the lower spray arm by hand to make sure the new basket doesn't foul it.
