Product details
Part 20000669 is a genuine inner door glass from BSH, for Bosch, Siemens and Neff ovens. The inner pane is the one facing into the oven cavity, and it takes more heat than any other glass in the door. Door glass is made to suit each oven range, so a part number match is essential. No models are on file for 20000669 yet, so compare it with your parts list or send us your E-Nr.
Cracked inner oven glass and what to do about it
Most built-in ovens have two or more glass panes in the door with air gaps between them. The inner pane closes off the cavity, holds the heat in and protects the cooler outer layers. It can crack from thermal shock, such as cold water splashed on hot glass, from a knock with a tray, or from a chip near the edge that spreads over time. A cracked inner pane should be replaced straight away, as it lets heat into the door and may break further while the oven is heating.

Fitting the inner glass
Switch the oven off at its isolator or the switchboard and let it cool completely. Remove the door if your model allows it, and lay it on a towel on a flat surface. Note the position of any clips, spacers and seals as you lift the old glass out, and fit the new pane the same way round. Wear gloves when handling broken glass, and clean every pane before reassembling.
Questions about this part
Which way round does the inner glass go?
Fit it the same way round as the old pane. Some inner glass has a coated or printed side, so take a photo before removing the old one and keep a note of which face pointed into the oven.
