This updated rack has no gap for a cutlery basket, so if your original basket sat in a gap in the old rack, you'll also need the matching cutlery basket, part 11035277.
When a Bosch dishwasher lower rack needs replacing
The lower rack carries the heaviest load in the dishwasher, from dinner plates to pots and pans, and rolls in and out on its wheels every day. Coating that chips off the tines lets rust spread, which stains dishes and can flake into the wash. Tines snap, wheels break away and the frame can bend if the rack is overloaded. When the rack drags, won't roll in straight, or has rusty or broken tines, replacing the whole rack is usually a better fix than patching it.

Swapping the lower rack
Open the door fully and pull the old rack out off its rails. Check the tub rails or door rollers for damage at the same time. Set the new rack on the rails and roll it in and out a few times to confirm it runs smoothly and the door closes without hitting anything. If you're moving across from a rack with a cutlery basket gap, fit the new style basket before your first wash.
