Need a fan element with no earth terminal? Part 20.40411.010 is a generic 2000W fan forced oven element made without one. As a universal aftermarket part it isn't tied to a single oven brand. Before ordering, line it up against your old element for wattage, the diameter of the coil, the length of the neck and the gap between the two terminals.
Signs the fan element in your oven has gone
When you select fan bake, current flows through the coiled element around the fan and the fan blows that heat through the cavity. Elements fail with age and heat, often with a crack or blister in the outer tube. Typical complaints are an oven that won't heat on fan settings while the grill still works, food taking far longer to cook, or a pop and a tripped safety switch the moment fan bake is selected. A multimeter check across the two terminals tells you whether the element has gone open circuit.

Before you fit the element
Turn the oven off at the wall or isolate the circuit at the switchboard, and let it cool right down. A licensed electrician should fit elements in hard-wired ovens. Photograph the terminals before disconnecting, check that your old element really has no earth connection, and fit the new one with the same orientation. Run fan bake for ten minutes and check it heats evenly.
