1szzen4009b-genuine-lg-washing-machine-screw
1SZZEN4009B Genuine Screw for LG Washing Machines, Original LG Washer Screw

1SZZEN4009B is a genuine LG screw for LG washing machines. LG gives each screw size and type its own part number, and this one is specified for particular fixing points on its washers. A screw from the hardware store might look close but differ in thread, length or head, which can strip a plastic boss or leave a panel loose. Ordering by the LG number gets you the exact fastener the machine was built with.

When a missing LG washer screw causes trouble

Screws hold together the panels, brackets, motor parts and plastics of a washing machine, and a washer shakes hard during spin. A screw that has dropped out, rusted or stripped can cause rattles, a buzzing panel, a part that shifts out of line, or extra wear on nearby components. It's common to lose one during a repair, or find one rounded off when you go to remove it. Our records don't show where this screw is used, so check the exploded parts list for your model and confirm 1SZZEN4009B is the one called for.

Part details

Genuine LG part 1SZZEN4009B

Screw for LG washing machines

Order by part number to match thread, length and head

Location and model fit not on file

Fitting tips

Unplug the washer and turn off the taps before removing panels. Use a screwdriver bit that fits the head snugly so you don't round it off. If the screw goes into plastic, stop as soon as it feels firm, as overtightening strips the hole. A drop of thread locker suits screws in high vibration spots, but leave it off anything you'll need to undo again soon.

Questions about this part

How many screws come with this part?

Our records list 1SZZEN4009B as a single screw, so assume one per item unless stated otherwise.
