Signs your oven bottom door seal has worn out
The lower seal closes the gap between the bottom edge of the door and the oven cavity. Over time it hardens, flattens or tears, and the clips can lose their grip. You may notice the oven takes longer to heat or struggles to hold temperature, hot air blowing out at the bottom of the door, or condensation and grease marks along the lower door edge. Fitting the lower door seal
Make sure the oven is off and fully cool. Open the door and find where the old seal clips in, then ease it out gently so you don't damage the clip holes. Push the new seal's 2 clips firmly into the same holes and check the seal sits evenly along its length. Close the door and shine a torch along the bottom edge to check for gaps.
