Fitting the spacer

Unplug the dryer before lifting it off its bracket, and get a second person to help, as even a compact dryer is awkward to handle at height. Fit the spacer in the position shown in your installation guide, then rehang the dryer on the bracket and check it sits level, clears the wall evenly and doesn't rock when the drum turns.
