The wheel lets you roll the fridge out to clean behind it, and the height adjustment lets you level the cabinet so the doors line up and swing closed on their own. When a roller cracks, seizes or loses its adjustment, the fridge can tilt, the doors may sit unevenly or drift open, and the seals may not close properly. That lets warm air in, which leads to frost build up and a compressor that works harder than it should.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux group part 1760008782

Earlier number 1458188

Height adjustable roller for levelling the cabinet

Listed for 20 Westinghouse, Kelvinator and Electrolux fridge models

Fitting the roller

Empty the door shelves, switch the fridge off at the wall and get a helper before tipping the cabinet. Tilt it back only as far as needed and support it on a block. Remove the old roller and fit the new one in the same position, then lower the fridge and adjust the height until it's level side to side and leans slightly back so the doors close by themselves.

Questions about this part

Does the lower hinge come with this roller?

No. This listing is the adjustable roller only. On some models it fits alongside the lower hinge, which is a separate part, so order the hinge as well if yours is damaged or worn.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0768/3489/7998/files/1760008782-genuine-westinghouse-fridge-adjustable-roller.jpg?v=1792026182
