It suits the WTM5200 and WTM5204SB, the WTE5200SB, and the WSE6100 and WSE7000 models in a number of finishes and production versions. Replace a bin that is split, has a broken tab or has gone missing altogether.

When to replace the fridge ice bin

The ice bin collects and stores ice in the freezer so it is ready to use. It lives in the coldest part of the fridge, so the plastic becomes brittle and cracks easily when knocked or yanked out while full. A split bin leaks meltwater that refreezes into lumps, cubes stick together, and the bin may no longer sit or slide properly in its spot. A bin that does not sit right can also stop the freezer door from sealing.

Part details

Genuine part 1760008714

Cross reference 1451388

Ice bin for the freezer compartment

Listed for Westinghouse WTM5200, WTM5204SB and WTE5200SB models

Also on file for WSE6100 and WSE7000 models

Fitting the new ice bin

No tools are needed for most bins. Empty out any ice, lift or slide the old bin out of its position and wipe the area dry. Leave the new bin at room temperature for a few minutes before fitting so it is less brittle, then place it in the same position, making sure it sits level and the freezer door closes freely.

Questions about this part

Will this ice bin fit a WSE7000 fridge?

Yes, the WSE7000 is on file in several versions, including the WSE7000WA and WSE7000SA, the WSE7000PA and WSE7000SE, and the WSE7000WE, WSE7000SF and WSE7000WF.
