Part 17473000000098 is the genuine silver button switch for Belling BC60B, BC60S and BC90B rangehoods, and it is also used on Technika hoods. Rangehood buttons not responding
Every press of a rangehood button goes through this switch, so it copes with steam, grease and daily use for years. Over time the contacts inside wear or get gummed up, and you'll notice a button that has to be pressed several times, one that sticks in, or a fan or light that won't turn on or off. Sometimes a single function drops out while the rest still work. If the hood has power and the motor and lights test fine on their own, a tired switch is the likely cause.

Swapping the button switch
Switch the hood off at the wall and unplug it, or isolate the circuit if it is hard-wired. Remove the filters, then the panel covering the controls. Photograph the wiring before you unplug any terminals so they go back in the same order. Fit the new switch, refit the panel and test each button before putting the filters back. Hard-wired hoods need a licensed electrician.
