Each click of the function knob turns this rotary switch to a new position, and each position connects a different combination of elements, the fan and the oven light. Fitting the selector switch
Turn the oven off at the circuit breaker or isolator before you take off the knob and control panel. Photograph the wiring on the old switch from more than one angle, then move the wires across to the new switch one at a time. Make sure each terminal is pushed fully home. Have a licensed electrician do the job if the oven is hard-wired.
