Genuine Electrolux part 1561285105 is the rear adjuster for the upper basket in Dishlex and Simpson dishwashers. It's moulded in grey, colour code RAL 7005, and carries the rollers that let the top basket glide along its rails. Top basket sagging or falling off its rails?

The upper basket rides on a pair of side rails, and the adjusters at each end hold the rollers and set the basket height. Over years of hot washes the plastic can go brittle, so tabs snap and rollers drop out. A worn rear adjuster lets the back of the basket tip or sag, makes it jam halfway when you pull it out, or lets it come off the rail completely. A basket sitting low can also hit the spray arm, which leads to poorly washed dishes on the top rack.

Fitting the rear adjuster

Empty the top basket and slide it out of the rails. Note how the old rear adjuster clips to the basket wire before you release it, then press the new one on in the same position. Refit the basket, check it runs smoothly in and out, and make sure the upper spray arm still turns freely underneath.
