Genuine BSH drain pump 145777, also listed as 00145777, is the pump that empties the drum on Bosch and Siemens washing machines. It's the factory replacement from the company that built the machine. Bosch washing machine not draining? Signs of a failed pump
At the end of each wash and rinse, the drain pump pulls water from the bottom of the tub and pushes it out through the drain hose. When it stops working, the machine leaves water in the drum, won't spin, and usually halts mid cycle with a drain fault on the display. A pump that hums without moving water may have a jammed impeller or a failing motor. Before buying, open the small flap at the bottom front and clear the drain filter of coins, hairclips or lint, as a blockage there causes the same symptoms. If the filter is clear and the pump still won't run, it's time to replace it.

Swapping the drain pump
Unplug the washer and turn off both taps. Drain the remaining water through the filter flap into a shallow tray, with towels underneath, as more comes out than you'd expect. Access is from the front or underneath depending on the model. Photograph the hose clamps and the wiring plug before removing anything. After fitting, run a rinse and spin and check below for leaks.
